Table Saw Sled Plan
Miter Mate Whether you call it a Table Saw Jig, Table Saw Sled, or Crosscut Sled, this table saw accessory will be one of the most important tools in your shop.
With typical miter guages, the blade tends to pull the work away from the fence. This tool allows you to clamp the workpiece at the exact angle you need.
  • Improved Safety: Holds the workpiece firmly so you can keep your hands away from the blade!
  • Improved Precision: Allows you to position the workpiece in unlimited positions. You can make precise and repetitive cuts everytime.
  • Versatile: Works as a precision miter guage, taper jig, or general purpose table saw sled.
  • Easy to build: Easy to follow instructions show you how to build this Table Saw Jig from readily available inexpensive materials.

Use it as a Table Saw Sled for precision taper cuts. The T-Track allows you to position the fence in virtually any angle. The universal fence has T-Track for the sliding stop block and hold down clamps. The stationary mounted toggle clamps are not necessary but often useful.   Use your Table Saw Jig to hold pieces that are too small to safely cut with a miter guage. You can get repetitive and accurate cuts on even very small and odd shaped workpieces. Keeps your hands safely away from the saw blade!
